June/July 2011:
Madelyn never like wigs or hats much... even after we had a hat party for her! However, she LOVED having tattoos on her head!
She still struggled with accessing...
... but she was getting old hat at all the procedures... here she is helping the nurse by ejecting the thermometer cover.
When her counts finally rebounded in mid-June we were able to relax and start to have fun again. She was officially in Long Term Maintenance! Still a lot of chemo,
but a LOT better than before.
We continued to do swimming lessons!
Peter and I took a trip just the two of us to Victoria. Riding bikes from home down to the city and spending two nights. We really needed it.
We were all so happy to be home again. We did a lot of goofing around that summer!
